**BERNSTEIN offers a variety of ESD-tools and ESD-tool-sets for stationary and mobile use on electrostatically sensitive components** SPANNFIX Vices with dissipative surface BERNSTEIN clamping vices SPANNFIX constructed on ball-and-socket joints are rotatable easily in all directions and capable of being set securely with maximum working capacity by simple operation. A set screw below the ball socket allows an individual adjusting of the ball power. Long life is guaranteed by highest black powder-coated aluminium casting and surface-refined steel-parts. With a surface resistance between 107 and 108 O, the ESD types ensure a safe dissipation of static charges. Tests have been done: a. from one jaw pad to the other jaw pad b. from the base screw adjuster to the jaw srcew adjuster c. the other main test is to establish the resistance to ground (Rg) when the vice is clamped to a table covered with a grounded dissipative material. d. The small vice SPANNFIX passed all tests in accordance with EN 61340 - 5 - 1:2007.
