Exposing of PCB is basically an image transfer proces of transferring image from a plotted film onto a bare copper clad laminate. Under intense UV light, a photoresist which is applied on a bare copper laimate is exposed in areas which are to be kept on copper laminate, thus forming lines on it.

Remaining are where UV light has not been able to make contact due to non opaque area of film, forms tracks of PCB.

Exposing machines are available in different categories depending on automation, image transfer techniques & source of light.

Exposure systems

Drilling is a process of creating holes in PCB for through hole component insertion and creating interconneciton between different layers of same PCB. Drilling can be done mainly by mechanical tools or by laser technology. In ever shrinking product dimensions, PCB manufacturing has high complex PCB's with thousands of holes /sq.cm. of only few microns. 

Routing is a process of seperating individual PCB's from a panel by through cutting according to geometry of PCB. Routing is again done using mechncial, tools & laser technology. With tighter product fittings in enclosures, demands a very complex routing that is challenging for PCB manufacturers.

V Scoring is a very simple way of routing in which a V shaped groove is created on alongside of PCB thickness so that PCB's frm a matrix in panel can be seperated using a very low mechncial force.

Drilling and Routing

Mulilayer Fabrication is although a very simple term but in reality it is a very complex process of manufacturing today's high count and dense multilayer PCB's. Multilayer Fabrication consists of following steps :
- Multilayer Registration
- Vaccum Lamination

Multilayer registration are basically systems which are used for creating a registration between different layers of same PCB. These systems are normally vision based.

Vaccum Lamination is basically to laminate together the different layers of PCB using prepared material under high temperature and vaccum conditions. 

A good registration and vaccum lamination system ensures a high yield for PCB manufacturing plant and high reliability of PCB's being manufactured.

Multilayer Fabrication

During the entire process of PCB manufacturing, PCB remains 90% of process time in chemical bath.Various combination of chemicals are used to process PCB.

After having produced the solar cells and placed the electrical contacts between the cells, they are then wired and subsequently arrayed.

**Solar panel lamination**
Sealed into ethylene vinyl acetat (EVA), they are put into a frame that is sealed with silicon glue and covered with a electrical & humidity insulator sheet on the backside and a glass plate on the frontside.
This is the so called lamination process and is an important step in the solar panel manufacturing process.
Finally, the structure is then supported with aluminum frames and ready is the PV module.

A **solar cell**, or **photovoltaic** cell, is an electrical device that converts the energy of light directly into electricity by the photovoltaic effect, which is a physical and chemical phenomenon. It is a form of photoelectric cell, defined as a device whose electrical characteristics, such as current, voltage, or resistance, vary when exposed to light. Solar cells are the building blocks of photovoltaic modules, otherwise known as solar panels.

Based on Solar Cell structure, various equipment are used in manufacturing process. Main Equipment are Texturing, Diffusion POCL3, PSG Etching, Edge Isolation, PECVD, Screen Printing etc.
