Role Overview Bergen Group is seeking skilled and motivated professionals for the role of Engineer / Senior Engineer (Installation & Services) for its PCB Manufacturing Machinery Division. The selected candidate will play a critical role in the installation, commissioning, servicing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of advanced PCB manufacturing, inspection, and high-tech machinery at customer sites. The role requires hands-on technical expertise, strong problem-solving abilities, and a customer-centric approach, with the ability to work independently at field locations.

Roles & Responsibilities: • Carry out installation, commissioning, and startup of PCB manufacturing, assembly, inspection, and allied machinery at customer sites. • Attend and resolve assigned service calls at customer sites. • Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, mechanical, and hardware issues. • Implement preventive measures to minimize repeat failures and downtime. • Plan and assess required tools, spares, and technical documentation prior to service visits. • Provide timely responses and status updates to customers regarding service queries. • Ensure minimal machine downtime with effective and lasting solutions. • Maintain daily activity logs and share reports with the reporting manager. • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of installed machinery. • Prepare and submit detailed service reports along with customer feedback. • Maintain accurate documentation of all site engineering activities. • Review day-to-day operations and recommend process or performance improvements. • Gain in-depth technical and functional knowledge of equipment and systems. • Explain technical issues and project updates to non-technical stakeholders when required.


Required Qualifications • Diploma or B.Tech in Electronics / Electrical / Mechatronics or a related engineering discipline.


Experience • Minimum 2 years of experience in PCB sector machine installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance, or related industries.

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Purchase Engineer with at least 4 years of relevant experience in procurement within the Solar Manufacturing industry, specifically in Solar Module Lines, Cell Lines, and Wafer Line machinery spare parts. The candidate should have strong exposure to both domestic and international purchasing, vendor development, and a sound understanding of PCB manufacturing sector machinery and spare parts procurement.


Key Responsibilities: • Manage end-to-end procurement activities for spare parts related to: • Solar Module Line machines • Solar Cell Line machines • Ingot & Wafer Line machines • PCB Manufacturing machinery • Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable domestic and international vendors for machine spare parts and components. • Handle RFQs, price negotiations, comparative analysis, and finalization of purchase orders. • Ensure timely procurement of quality materials at competitive prices. • Maintain strong vendor relationships and continuously explore new sourcing opportunities. • Coordinate with Customer’s engineering, maintenance, and production teams to understand technical requirements. • Monitor inventory levels and plan procurement accordingly to avoid downtime. • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures. • Track shipments, manage logistics coordination, and ensure timely delivery. • Handle customs clearance processes including documentation, duties, and regulatory compliance for international shipments. • Coordinate transportation and logistics arrangements for both domestic and international procurement. • Maintain liaison with freight forwarders, CHA (Custom House Agents), and logistics partners. • Maintain accurate documentation related to procurement, imports, and vendor records.


Required Skills & Competencies: • Strong technical knowledge of spare parts used in Solar Module, Cell, and Wafer manufacturing lines. • Good understanding of PCB manufacturing machinery and related spare parts. • Experience in both domestic and international procurement processes. • Vendor development and supplier evaluation expertise. • Strong negotiation and communication skills. • Ability to read and understand technical drawings/specifications. • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and ERP/SAP systems. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.


Qualifications & Experience: • Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics/ Mechatronics) or related field. • Experience: 4 years’ experience in Solar Manufacturing Industry is highly preferred. • Exposure to import/export procedures, INCOTERMS, and international logistics.
