Role Overview Bergen Group is seeking skilled and motivated professionals for the role of Engineer / Senior Engineer (Installation & Services) for its PCB Manufacturing Machinery Division. The selected candidate will play a critical role in the installation, commissioning, servicing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of advanced PCB manufacturing, inspection, and high-tech machinery at customer sites. The role requires hands-on technical expertise, strong problem-solving abilities, and a customer-centric approach, with the ability to work independently at field locations.

Roles & Responsibilities: • Carry out installation, commissioning, and startup of PCB manufacturing, assembly, inspection, and allied machinery at customer sites. • Attend and resolve assigned service calls at customer sites. • Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, mechanical, and hardware issues. • Implement preventive measures to minimize repeat failures and downtime. • Plan and assess required tools, spares, and technical documentation prior to service visits. • Provide timely responses and status updates to customers regarding service queries. • Ensure minimal machine downtime with effective and lasting solutions. • Maintain daily activity logs and share reports with the reporting manager. • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of installed machinery. • Prepare and submit detailed service reports along with customer feedback. • Maintain accurate documentation of all site engineering activities. • Review day-to-day operations and recommend process or performance improvements. • Gain in-depth technical and functional knowledge of equipment and systems. • Explain technical issues and project updates to non-technical stakeholders when required.
Required Qualifications • Diploma or B.Tech in Electronics / Electrical / Mechatronics or a related engineering discipline.
Experience • Minimum 2 years of experience in PCB sector machine installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance, or related industries.
Key Skills • Strong technical knowledge of industrial machinery and engineering systems. • Hands-on experience in installation and servicing of high-tech equipment. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with AI-based productivity tools. • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. • Effective time management and ability to work independently in the field. • Customer-focused mindset with professional work ethics.
